The first questionable point was "how light the package was!"
Upon opening the box, we definitely extend KUDOS for the excellent packaging of such a Fragile item...tightly wrapped in bubble wrap and surrounded by air pillows! However, upon inspection, the piggy bank was significantly smaller in size than anticipated and a far thinner/lighter ceramic than expected. We deposited a few coins to be sure the musical feature worked. So disappointed! The tune ((Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star") was barely audible! Not appropriate for a 1 year old!
In all honesty, had we been able to view this item in a store, we would not have made the purchase. It's not worth $31.99...plus the $7.17 shipping! AND based on distance (CA to VA), it cost more than $10 (non-refundable!) to return item. Our post office cautions ~ be aware of return policy/distance when purchasing online items!
